Concept schets Bredel

To convince mining professionals of the power of the Bredel pump, we designed a trade show setup that replicates a typical industrial process from their sector. The design simulates part of the thickening process as it takes place in a conventional mining thickener, also known as a Gravity Thickener.

This is a large tank in which solid particles settle, supported by a slowly rotating scraper. Based on this principle, we developed a recognizable, compact exhibition setup that visualizes this process in a realistic way.

In the demo installation, the Bredel pump circulates a heavy slurry containing brightly colored, hard solid particles. This convincingly demonstrates how effortlessly the Heavy Duty pump can handle abrasive, highly viscous slurries — just as it would in demanding mining environments.

Video Mining Industry Exhibition Setup

To convince professionals in the mining industry, Bredel presents a trade show setup that replicates an industrial process commonly found in mining operations. The design demonstrates exactly how the Heavy Duty pump performs in such demanding conditions.

Attention is drawn not only by the robust engineering but also by the dynamic movements within the setup — including the flowing slurry and the rotating motion inside the tank. For a more detailed impression, refer to the video of the installation showcased at BAUMA 2025.
